..in shooting tourist traps, when you don’t want people to clutter your shot, you usually do one of these:
- wake up late / early and shoot when no one’s there
- shoot a bunch of shots and do some “magic” in photoshop
- painstakingly clone them out one by one
..in this case, i just left the scene alone and pressed the shutter..

I can see exactly where you’re going with this, Rian.
I would have left it alone, too. HA!
She works perfectly. Just enough to frame the scene!!!
good call
Rian, can’t you clone out that distracting godbeam? Just an idea….;>))
I wonder why you didn’t ask her to move?
Lovely scene.
Very funny and clever commentary and the photo has some great scenery in it.
The framing of this shot is very interesting. I like it a lot
A good choice leaving it alone, cloning is such a pain to do at times, and besides I dont find the rays of light through the clouds distracting at all, or were you thinking of cloning something else out?
I love the shot for the stories that could be written about the girl’s thoughts as she looks over the land and seascape. I shall resist the temptation to make any observations on the shapely curves within the frame….. lovely though they are…
a poetic feeling on this, I like the idea of the composition
I like the expanse of sky and single wave of inspiration!
gotta leave a girly arse like that one alone, nooooo clonestamping!! nice shot my friend!!
…and it worked! Know what you mean, though!
A really exceptional image, Rian.
Super shot. The legs sure don’t hurt it.
Beautiful landscape … without girl would be better
Do not like the way she is standing there .
Uh…sure Rian, sure.
Nonetheless, this is a great shot!
Love the sun stream in the background!
It’s a very interesting shot left the way it actually was. I’d like it better without her, but it is still very effective.
And you remembered the rule of thirds.
I just realized, we have “the sun” and “the moon” in one picture. You are a true artist!
I love the cheekiness of this photo.
gorgeous light and a beautiful composition
what clutter?
It always feels divine when light breaks through the clouds like this. Quite a sight.
