..you’re probably bored from all those parade shots i posted the past few days, well, your prayers have been answered.. i’ve finally finished loading them up to my flickr account.. and it’s time to move on to something else.. up until i decide what to do next, here’s something to ogle at..
..view this in mono..
..wanna try this out too? check it out here..
..a nice place to take in the view of the city and hear all the crazy drivers honking..
..flares were probably caused by dust bunnies on the filter, i just left it there.. it looked cool.. (and too much trouble to clean up too..)

..the city from the other side of the river..
..see this in mono..
..here’s a couple lounging by the river, oblivious to everything except for themselves..
..captured at the same time and place where i got this.. trying to visualize some ideas that have been simmering in my head for quite some time.. there’ll be more to come from this place..
..on a different note, the lakers lost game 3.. argh..
..what do you do when you wanna capture manhattan a-la vincent laforet but can’t justify the moolah to get a ‘copter? get up the tallest building you can find and dangle your camera out the ledge, and voila.. (just make sure to wrap the strap around your wrist..)
..this here’s looking up the north face of the empire state building..
..a “normal” perspective of the helmsley building.. click here to read more about it and see a more “radical” perspective..
..i looked at yesterday’s image and it was ghastly (sorry about that).. i guess i need a monitor calibrator..
..shooting wide open at high iso was a good idea that time too.. i think i’ll just post some of those in my flickr later.. hehe..
..this here’s from the maritime museum.. the “swim with the dolphins” attraction is to the left..
..i remember the wind blowing so hard that water was churning under flatt’s bridge (it’s somewhere in the left part of the frame, i think i’ll post another one later..) and through the inlet pretty hard while i took this..
..we were figuring out how to get to the crystal caves.. it was a long walk, good thing the friendly locals pointed us to the right direction.. ride a bus..
..still from the keep, this is called the high cave.. this body of water doesn’t go anywhere.. the boat is probably for tourists falling in the water..
..well, i guess i’m a sucker for bridges like some of you noticed..
..for a landscape, i pretty much screwed up the settings for this one and wasn’t able to set the proper depth to attain the acceptable overall sharpness.. it still looked salvageable, so here it is.. distortion and all..
..how’s that for a title! now if only the chrysler was a bit taller, this’ll look like those AT&T “bars” advertisement, but the signal’s going down instead of up.. hmm..
..here’s a UFO USO surfacing from the east river..
*after reading mike’s comment, i changed UFO to USO because it makes perfect sense.. why hadn’t i thought of it.. maybe it’s because i’m off to bermuda again this weekend.. lol! ;D
..it seems i’ve been bitten by the tweakies again.. the sun on the light post was just too good to pass up so i tweaked away (or at least attempted to.. )
..this here’s the arlington street church..
Arlington Street Church is a Unitarian Universalist church located in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1729 as the “Church of the Presbyterian Strangers”, it became independent in 1787, taking on a Congregational model. In 1803, it called William Ellery Channing as its minister who defined “Unitarian Christianity” and launched the Unitarian movement, making the Arlington Street Church one of the first to define itself as Unitarian. On May 17, 2004, the church was the site of the first state-sanctioned same-sex marriage in the United States. (more)
..and, if you were wondering about that blue cast.. yeah.. it’s deliberate..
