..yep, it’s a monday..
..view this in mono..
..i did have a good seat when watching this event, too bad there was a big head blocking the view, so i just stood at the back of the crowd and snapped away.. i was lucky enough to get some eye contact from some of the dancers..

..what better way to profess your love for each other than to have a photo shoot in the middle of times square.. (why not get a bullhorn while you’re at it) *just kidding*

swirly tourists
..a group of kids boarding their bus on times square..
..positioned the cam overhead, twisted it a bit to get the blur, converted to b&w and allowed some color to bleed through..
..on a whim, here’s another one from the moleman series.. i could’ve named this the sewer rat series.. i think that sounds better.. hmm..
ticker tape
..signs of the times..
..wow, my first post for 2009.. i’m pretty bleary-eyed and sleepy from last night.. so in the meantime, here’s the place where some blokes freezed their asses of watching jonas brothers.. lol..
..the times square ball will be dropped down the same time tomorrow as i post this image now.. referencing a clock face, it’ll be at the building located at six o’ clock.. the One Times Square Building.. and the stage where the performers would be is where i stood while taking this shot.. dunno if we’ll be standing there freezing our asses off / watching fireworks somewhere / boozing at a bar / wolfing foodies / sleeping soundly.. i just wish everyone out there a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 😀
..smooching at times square where a bunch of cameras go randomly flicking around, you’re bound to be papparazzie’d.. and think of the time i took taking out the camera from my bag, tweaking the settings and composing the shot, they were still at it after shooting 15-20 shots.. i bet they were still at it when we were in the trains.. lol.. 😀
..to get a phone signal after getting off of the subway, this is what you should do.. lol..

06/19/2008 Update:
I wasn’t able to get the name of this dancer, but her repertoire is a rough mix of ballet and … … I can’t describe it.. it’s just intense! 🙂
Thanks to Mr. Giarmo, I was able to know the name of this talented dancer and give her credit for an excellent performance. Her name is Drew Jacoby and she can be found here.
